Fern's involvement with SACCOs began in 1997 in South Africa.
Fern customised its software to meet the specific demands of SACCOs
and worked with their representative body to uplift the technical
support and training that was needed at that time. Fern provided
direct training to
the users and also helped them with the complementary computer user
skills for daily management of their entire back-office system,
including backup, loading updates and performing mail merge and
data export.
Fern deals with many regulatory bodies and has consequently
developed a system which satisfies the regulators' demands for
transparency, consistency and timeliness. Fern's swift response to
legislative changes and the accounting and reporting demands of our
clients has kept our SACCO users up-to-date with best practices and
in line with the principles of good governance at all times.

and Regulatory Compliance. The interface is designed with users in
mind, and is the result of years of feedback from these same
users.
